We develop and sell WordPress plugins and SaaS tools for affiliate marketers, content creators, and online business owners. Information You Provide Directly

Name and email address — when you sign up for early access notifications, purchase a product, register for a course, or contact us
Purchase information — when you buy through WarriorPlus, payment is processed by WarriorPlus. We receive your name, email, and license information but do not store payment card details

Information From Plugin Usage

Our WordPress plugins run on your own self-hosted WordPress installation. We do not collect data from your plugin activity, your users, or your website visitors. Your plugin data stays on your server.

4. API Keys and Third-Party Credentials

McReaSoft plugins use a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. This means:

You supply your own API keys for services such as OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Amazon PA-API, GetResponse, and others
Your API keys are stored in your own WordPress database on your own server
McReaSoft does not receive, store, or have access to your API keys
All API calls made by our plugins originate from your server directly to the relevant third-party service

In plain terms: Your credentials never leave your server. We have no server-side copy of your API keys, OAuth tokens, or third-party account credentials. If you uninstall a plugin, your keys are removed with it.

5. Pinterest API Data

PinAffiliate Pro integrates with the Pinterest API v5 to allow users to create and publish pins from their own Pinterest accounts. This section explains specifically how Pinterest-related data is handled.

What We Access

Your Pinterest account username and profile information — used only to confirm which account is connected in the plugin settings
Your Pinterest board list — retrieved at the time of pin creation to populate the board selection interface
Pin performance data (impressions, saves, clicks) — retrieved for display in the plugin dashboard

How We Store It

Your Pinterest OAuth access token and refresh token are stored in your own WordPress database (wp_usermeta) on your self-hosted server
No Pinterest data is transmitted to or stored on McReaSoft servers
Board lists are not cached beyond the current session
Pin analytics are displayed in real time from the API and not permanently stored

How We Use It

Pinterest account data is used exclusively to provide PinAffiliate Pro's features to you, the authenticated user
We do not combine your Pinterest data with data from other users
We do not share or sell any Pinterest user data with any third party
We do not use Pinterest data for advertising or analytics purposes beyond the plugin's own dashboard

Disconnecting Your Pinterest Account

You can disconnect your Pinterest account from PinAffiliate Pro at any time through the plugin settings page. Disconnecting removes the stored OAuth tokens from your WordPress database immediately. We comply with Pinterest's Developer and API Terms of Service and Developer Guidelines.

Actions Taken on Your Behalf

PinAffiliate Pro only takes actions on your Pinterest account that you explicitly initiate or pre-authorize. Scheduled pins are posted at times you have configured. No content is created or published without your direct authorization.

6. Amazon Associates and PA-API

PinAffiliate Pro integrates with the Amazon Product Advertising API (PA-API 5.0) to retrieve product information for affiliate content creation.

Your Amazon PA-API credentials (Access Key, Secret Key, and Associate Tag) are stored only in your own WordPress database
McReaSoft does not receive or store your Amazon credentials
Product data retrieved via PA-API (titles, descriptions, prices, images) is used to generate pin content and bridge pages on your site
All affiliate links generated by the plugin include your Associate Tag for proper attribution
Pricing data is refreshed periodically as required by Amazon Associates program policies

Use of the Amazon PA-API is subject to the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement and the PA-API Terms of Service.

7. Third-Party Services

Our website and plugins interact with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

WarriorPlus

We distribute products through WarriorPlus. When you purchase through WarriorPlus, your transaction is governed by the WarriorPlus Privacy Policy. We receive your name and email to fulfill your license.

GetResponse

We use GetResponse for email marketing. If you opt in to our mailing list, your email is stored in GetResponse under their Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

PinAffiliate Pro connects to Pinterest via their official API. Pinterest's use of data is governed by the Pinterest Privacy Policy.

Amazon

PinAffiliate Pro connects to the Amazon PA-API. Amazon's data practices are governed by the Amazon Privacy Notice.

OpenAI / Anthropic

If you choose to use AI content generation features, your product data is sent to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) using your own API key. This is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy or Anthropic's Privacy Policy respectively.

Gravatar

If you leave a comment on our blog, your email may be used to look up a Gravatar profile image via Automattic's Privacy Policy.
